World of Warcraft Series: Rise of the Horde by Christie Golden
Before starting this series I really had a vague recollection of what I remember based on the books I have ready over a decade ago. I am excited to dive into this series this year. I may not be reading these in order because finding the ‘correct’ order of these books seems to be an ever changing and opinion based list. I am just going to absorb what I can for each book and dive into the nostalgia of World of Warcraft.
Throughout the book I remember my time leveling in Outlands after Burning Crusade was released. The story explains the dynamic between the races of the Orcs and Draenei. You also learn a little about Shamanism and the Warlock class that you play in the game.
I had a difficult time really focusing on this book for some reason. Not sure if it was the font, my mental space, or what, but it took longer to read then I anticipated. I did enjoy the character development though! I am NOT spoiling this for anyone. I do believe that there are books that I would probably read before this one though if I am thinking chronologically.
